Receiving an unexpected package is one of the best feelings in the world, especially when it’s filled with goodies. As a childhood cancer survivor, I’ve been privately making care packages for cancer patients, usually friends and friends-of-friends, for a few years now. It’s my small way of paying it forward. However, with the entire world now in chaos, it is more important than ever for us to take care of ourselves, which enables us to better take care of others. With that in mind and in light of recent struggles I’ve experienced, I’ve decided to open up this passion project to anyone in need, especially in our current political landscape.
If you are struggling with depression or other mental health issues, please request a care package. If you are thinking about having an abortion, scheduled one, or just had one, request a care package. If you’re feeling isolated, alone, or scared because of your gender, religion, or skin color, request a care package. If you’re generally just going through a shit time or know of anyone experiencing any of the above, request a care package for you or for them. There is no shame in asking for a little magic.
To request a care package, please fill out the form below. Please be sure to include as much information about the recipient as possible, such as any lifestyle choices, allergies, sensitivities, likes, and dislikes. I don’t need you to get overly specific; I just don’t want to send anyone a bouquet of bacon if they are vegan. Be sure to include whether this is for you (no shame) or for a loved one. DO NOT include a mailing address in this form. I will email you for that information. Unfortunately, due to shipping costs, at this time I can only ship to the United States.
If you would like to donate money toward shipping fees and other associated costs, you can donate via PayPal. If you would like to get involved in some other way, such as donating products or shipping items, writing letters, or in some other creative way, please fill out a form and let me know!
*DISCLAIMER: I do this out of the love and goodness of my heart, in hopes to bring a little sunshine to someone’s day. Please don’t abuse it. I reserve the right to deny any requests for care packages, especially if I deem them sketch, and I am NOT responsible for any damages to packages or emotional or physical suffering caused by items in said packages.
